From 17 to 18 June, 2024, a meeting of teachers from partner schools in France and Greece was held in our school. It was the time of hard work on the final report summing up a two-year cooperation which aimed to take actions in order to reduce climate changes. The guests got to know the education system in Poland and were provided with a school tour.

n the 8th of November a group of students consisting of learners from classes 3b, 1h and the participants of Erasmus project, took part in a lecture “The influence of the climate on glaciers” which took place in Academy Of Applied Sciences in Nowy Targ. Dr Jakub Małecki, the lecturer, told everyone, in a very interesting way, about his experiences on Svalbard during glaciers research and work on climate changes.

They watched an ecological film „Animal” and „The history of solutions” and took the whole podium in an interactive quiz.

Between 10 and 17 October 12 students from our school participated in a trip to Greece within Erasmus+ programme „Take Action For The Earth”. During it, the youth had a chance to visit a lot of places such as Athens, Olympia, Nafpaktos and Messologi as well as take part in lectures concerning environmental protection against harmful human activity, producing microplastics and water, air and soil pollution.
