Legal aspects of environmental protection

On the 16th of April there was a meeting of the students taking part in the Erasmus+ TAFTE project with Mr Wojciech Krauzowicz who is the head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources run by the District Authority Office. 

The subject of the lecture was getting the participants acquainted with the main tasks of the Department. The lecturer familiarized the students with the structure of national and local administration then he focused on the area of the district of Nowy Targ. He presented the actions taken by the Department, described the most essential interventions and characterised the everyday work of the clerks. Mr. Krauzowicz showed the main aims of LIFE-IP EKOMAŁOPOLSKA project carried out by Nowy Targ County that is reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing the share of energy obtained from renewable sources and improving energy efficiency. Summing up the issues discussed during the meeting, the lecturer encouraged the participants to take part in environment-saving actions and wished everyone a lot of enthusiasm in promoting pro-ecological habits and behaviours.
